Asus VX7

Hello, please, I need help. I have a Asus VX7 with Nvidia graphics card 460mm. When I download a driver with nvidia.com so I can not install because I wrote it, the graphics driver is not compatible with hardware graphic cards. Can you advise me what should I do, so I can install and play new games?? Thank you very Tomas.

It does not take any driver from nvidia.com, Asus has said he treated his drivers, but does not update them. Latest driver for nvidia graphics card is 460 meters from March 16, 2011. I am already out of the desperate and do not know what should I do??

hello,

in general you can use official drivers by nvidia as well as the drivers provided by asus.
there is no exclusion of supported drivers and/or grafic-cards manufactured by asus, when you use the original driver made by nvidia.
there is nothing like the sony-thing with asus.

one little exception is here as well : sometimes the original drivers don't work at first install. then you need the (older) driver provided by asus, than after installation and a reboot you can install the original nvidia driver. then he updates all necessary files, software and drivers automatically.
